Mendelssohn Elijah

Elijah is a much loved oratorio written by Felix Mendelssohn in 1846 for the Birmingham Festival. It depicts various events in the life of the Biblical prophet Elijah, taken from the books 1 Kings and 2 Kings in the Old Testament

Why not become a friend?

If you are one of the many people who attend our concerts regularly then why not become a Friend of the FPC?

An annual subscription will ensure that you receive a ticket for a reserved seat at each concert, and for the price of a normal ticket you can also reserve seats for your guests.

When the concert venue permits, a Reception for Friends is held after each summer concert, and as valued supporters of the choir you will be most welcome at our social events.

Subscription for September 2006 to July 2007 is £30 (£26 for pensioners) and pro rata
